Government Projects & Evolving Federal Capabilities

AMS delivers construction services in direct alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) and NAVFAC standards, with demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical federal facilities. Our completed projects at Fort Meade, Willow Rock, MCAS Miramar, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reflect our ability to execute work safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with federal requirements.

AMS is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) headquartered in California, providing reliable construction services to federal agencies with a focus on quality control, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance. Our team understands the operational demands of active installations and coordinates closely with government stakeholders to minimize disruption while maintaining mission readiness.

Federal Experience

At Fort Meade, AMS supported infrastructure and facility-related improvements on an active military installation, adhering to strict DoD safety, security, and quality standards. Our work contributed to operational functionality and long-term asset performance within a controlled environment.

At Willow Rock, AMS executed federal construction work through disciplined planning, coordination with team partners, and adherence to federal specifications. These efforts enhanced site durability and performance while meeting inspection and compliance requirements.

AMS has also completed work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, delivering construction solutions that balanced operational needs with environmental stewardship. Our approach emphasized compliance with federal environmental regulations and sustainable construction practices.

Additionally, AMS performed site concrete, fencing, and associated civil work for the B7214 Repair Parking Lot project at MCAS Miramar, supporting critical infrastructure improvements on an active Marine Corps installation while meeting NAVFAC quality and safety standards.

Business Evolution & Expanded Capabilities
While performing work on military installations, AMS identified an opportunity to expand beyond design-focused services and strengthen our self-performed construction capabilities. This strategic shift enabled AMS to transition into comprehensive site development services tailored to federal and DoD requirements.

As part of this evolution, AMS now specializes in:
•    Asphalt paving and rehabilitation
•    Structural and flatwork concrete
•    Roofing systems, repairs, and replacements
•    Fencing and perimeter improvements
•    Complete site development and associated civil scopes

These services align with the following NAICS codes:
237310, 238910, 237990, 238990, and 238160

To support this expanded operational focus, AMS formalized a long-standing business relationship with Richard Brundage, who joined the firm as General Superintendent. Richard brings extensive field experience and holds a General Engineering Contractor License, serving as AMS’s Responsible Managing Employee (RME). His leadership strengthens AMS’s field execution, regulatory compliance, and quality control across all projects.

Today, AMS is structured to deliver reliable, self-performed civil construction services with a focus on asphalt, concrete, roofing, fencing, and site development—allowing us to support federal agencies with integrated, compliant, and mission-ready solutions.

Across all federal projects, AMS consistently demonstrates:

•    Compliance with NAVFAC, UFC, and DoD requirements
•    Strong quality control and EM 385-1-1–aligned safety practices
•    Effective coordination with government representatives and prime contractors
•    Proven performance on active, occupied, and secure installations
