Hi, I'm Michael Evans...

Mr. Evans is Registered Professional Archaeologist 5168 and has extensive field experience and geospatial analysis experience. Mitch is a Secretary of Interior qualified archaeologist, holding BA and MA degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology. He has approximately 14 years of experience ranging from Baja California to the interior and central coastal regions of the state, with prior academic research in Gordion, Tukey, Lyminge, United Kingdom, and San Nicolas Island, California Channel Islands. He has consulted with federal, state, tribal, and local municipalities. His professional experience have included survey, inventory and condition assessments of cultural resources for multiple federal agencies; visual impact modeling for NRHP listed historic properties;

construction monitoring team management; extensive experience performing data recovery efforts; GIS modeling and analysis; laboratory processes, lithic analysis, and shellfish identification. Mr. Evans has varied
experience with NHPA, NAGPRA, ARPA, Section 106, and Section 110 compliance. He has extensive experience in mapping, database management, and GPS/spatial data collection techniques for complex recording of cultural resources. He holds certifications and trainings, including, Metrolink Safety Training;
Rattlesnake handling training; HAZWOPER 40-hour certification; and Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) training. In addition, Mitch has provided project specific compliance training to construction crews.
